The story of Wrockhead began on the Crown Heights streets of Brooklyn, NY. At the age of six he discovered his love for hip-hop music. At just 8 years old he began writing rap songs. By the age of 12 he became a force to be reckoned with! He would be a local favorite for years to come.
Wrockhead was a frequent at freestyle competitions, rhyme cyphers, and underground rap showcases. But like a lot of up and coming artist, he soon realized that he needed a hot beat maker in his corner. Without a hot producer, it is nearly impossible to make a hot song. Rather than rap over second hand tracks from neighborhood producers, or spend endless amounts of cash on sub-par production and mediocre engineering. Wrockhead decided to himself become a Hot Beat maker.
At the age of sixteen he bought his first equipment and would stay up all night sampling old records and drum sequences. His passion for producing was growing stronger. Soon he was producing records for several local rap and R&B groups. Bored with sampling, he began to develop a unique style of beats. Often very drum heavy and rock guitar oriented, hence the name "Wrockhead". His popularity as a producer grew and he would find himself putting in more time producing than behind the mic.
Wrockhead eventually put his rap career on the back burner and began producing full time. He is now a featured producer for hotbeatsonline.com and is dedicated to giving talented artists the opportunity to own and/or utilize music at reasonable prices.
